As the clock ticks down to the grand finale of 2023, the Town of Greeneville proudly announces the 10th anniversary of their New Year’s Eve Party, Midnight on Main, and adds Depot Street to the mix! A decade of memories, magic, and a downtown revitalized to shine are beckoning all to join in the celebration.

Business growth, residential development, downtown improvements, and other changes have positioned our community to consider: what is next? The Town of Greeneville Building, Planning and Development Department is seeking a full-time Permit Specialist to join our team. This person will issue building permits & coordinate property code maintenance. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, & professional with strong knowledge of building construction code compliance & experience in municipal permits and/or property maintenance code enforcement. Certification plus 3 years related experience is preferred. AS degree and Microsoft Office experience also preferred. Salary DOE
We would like to present the 2023-2024 Greeneville Youth Commission. Their first meeting was on Tuesday, October 24 from 3:10-5:10 pm in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom. The program is led by Cathy Osborne, Assistant City Manager for the Town of Greeneville. This is the second year for the program.
