The time is now. Return. Restore. Relief.

In a recent video, Mayor Doty stated, "...If the state returned to sharing all of the sales tax revenue, it would provide relief to local taxpayers, allow local governments to meet funding demands that are necessary to maintain vital infrastructure, and to continue to provide essential services to our citizens, fuel economic expansion, and afford the quality of life that has allowed this state to prosper."
 
The Tennessee Municipal League (TML) is a voluntary, cooperative organization established by the cities and towns of the state for mutual assistance and improvement. The League's primary function is to work with the Tennessee General Assembly on behalf of city governments, promoting legislation helpful to cities and opposing legislation harmful to cities.
