Eastview Boardroom & Gym Rental
1. How do I rent the boardroom and/or gym?
You must come in person to the Eastview Recreation Center between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
2. How much does it cost to rent the Eastview Boardroom?
$20 per hour / 2 hour minimum
3. If I rent the boardroom, is the gym included?
No, it is not. Gym rental is $20 per hour / 2 hour minimum. You are required to rent the boardroom for your party snacks and drinks. Basketballs are not provided with the rental. You must bring your own.
4. Do I need a key?
No you do not. A Parks & Recreation employee will open the facility 30 minutes before your scheduled party time. An employee will return 30 minutes after your scheduled party time has ended to lock the building.
Youth Baseball Registration
1. When does baseball registration begin?
Registration begins each year during the first full week in February.

3. What will I need to register my child?
If your child has never played a sport with the Parks & Recreation Department, you will need to bring a copy of your child's birth certificate at the time of registration.
4. How do I know what team my child is on?
Each age group will have a league draft. The draft dates will be printed on a handout for you to take home with you when you register. If your child is returning to a team, they will not go through the draft. Whether your child is a new player or a returning player, the team coach will call to let you know when your child's first team practice will be.
5. What equipment will my child need?
Each team has a sponsor who pays for the team shirts and hats/visors. Your child will need a glove and cleats. They will also need ball pants, but parents are encouraged to wait for your team coach to tell you what color pants the team will be wearing.
6. How do I become a coach for youth baseball or youth softball?
Any person interested in applying for a coaching position must come by the Parks & Recreation Office to complete an application. All applicants must have a basic and well-rounded knowledge of the game and be a person of good moral character. All applications will be screened and background checks will be performed.
7. How do I become an umpire or scorekeeper?
If you are interested in umpiring and/or scorekeeping, you must come by the Recreation Office to complete an application. Once the applications are screened, interviews will be conducted. Any applicant must be at least 16 years of age, must have a general knowledge of the game, and must be a person of good moral character. All applicants will have background checks completed.

1. Is there a registration fee for Youth Volleyball?
The registration fee is $20 per player.

The Recreation Department offers two leagues. Registration for the Spring League begins the second full week in January. Fall League registration begins the second full week in July.

Team sponsors provide the t-shirts. Other than comfortable attire, there are no other requirements.

Pavilion Rental
1. How do I rent a pavilion at Hardin Park?
All pavilions at Hardin Park are rented by the hour. The hourly fee is $10. If you would like to rent a pavilion, you must come by the Recreation Office in person to do so. The fee must be paid at the time of rental. You will receive a receipt and pavilion permit.

Hardin Pool Park & Eastview Splash Pad Rental
1. What is the rental fee and hours for Hardin Park Pool?
The pool is available to rent for private parties any day of the week. The hours are 6pm-8pm.
2. What does a private pool party cost?
The rental fee is $100.00 for 30 swimmers or less. If you will have more than 30 swimmers, the rental fee will be $125.00. In order to book a party, you must come in person to the Eastview Recreation Center. The rental fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.
3. How old do I have to be to become a lifeguard? How do I become certified?
You have to be age 16 to apply for a lifeguard position. Certification can be obtained through classes at the YMCA or through the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Please call those organizations for a class schedule.
4. Can I book the Splash Pad for a private party?
Yes, private parties are allowed at the Splash Pad. Party hours are 5:30pm-7:30pm or 8:00pm-10:00pm. The rental fee is $100.00. In order to book a party, you must come in person to the Eastview Recreation Center. The rental fee must be paid in full at the time of booking. Days available for booking a party are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
