Presley Warman of The Warman Trio at Midnight on Main

As the clock ticks down to the grand finale of 2023, the Town of Greeneville proudly announces the 10th anniversary of their New Year’s Eve Party, Midnight on Main, and adds Depot Street to the mix! A decade of memories, magic, and a downtown revitalized to shine are beckoning all to join in the celebration.

Christina Potts, the Media/Marketing Specialist for the Town, shares her excitement, "This year, we’re inspired by the renewed beauty of Depot Street, dynamic entertainment, and a palette of vibrant metallic colors. We proudly present our theme: "Rock 'n' Radiance!" Get ready for a night of retro glam that reaches all ages and gives a glimpse of the dazzling possibilities of 2024."

Event Highlights:

Countdown Extravaganza: Starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 31st, the first 100 revelers can choose between free metallic hats, tiaras, and noisemakers at the intersection of Main and Depot Streets. Partygoers are encouraged to visit the resolution station, participate in pre-party activities, and gear up for the main act – energetic live music that sets the stage on fire!

Rooftop Fireworks & Resolution Drop: The crescendo of the night comes with a ball drop filled with the resolutions of attendees, followed by a breathtaking rooftop fireworks show at the stroke of midnight.

Family Fun at the Kids' Zone: Parents can bring their children to the Kids' Zone at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Main Street. Fueled by the enthusiasm of FCC Greene volunteers, this zone promises a game room, music, dancing, and a small bounce house. Parents or guardians are required to stay with their children at the Kids’ Zone.

Street Party Extravaganza: Depot Street transforms into a musical showcase, featuring The Warman Trio from Townsend, Tennessee, serving up an exciting mix of 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll in a rockabilly style. The food court, including Top Dog Hot Dog Stand, Floyd’s Snack Shack, and What the Fluff cotton candy, adds flavor to the night.

Catalyst Coffee Company: Need a breather? Head to Catalyst Coffee Company, the ultimate hotspot serving up locally roasted delights. It's the ideal space to warm up, meet friends, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Exclusive 21+ Party at General Morgan Inn: For those 21 years and over, General Morgan Inn and Brumley’s have a lavish celebration planned from 8 p.m. until midnight. Invest $85 per person for an all-inclusive experience featuring music by Ivy Road, DJ Robbie Britton on the Terrace, a midnight champagne toast, and an array of delectable heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Community Support: None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of community sponsors. The Town of Greeneville extends our gratitude to GOLD sponsors: Andrew Johnson Bank, Capitol Theatre, GFL Environmental, The General Morgan Inn, and Quality Sleep Mattress Barn; SILVER sponsor: Towne Square Package Store; and BRONZE sponsor: John Deere. Sponsorship opportunities are still open for those seeking ways to make this all-ages free event an even greater success.
