Patrol Division

The Patrol Division complete accident and incident reports along with other investigations.

K-9 Patrol Division

The Greeneville Police Department K-9 unit currently consists of 2 officer / K-9 teams.

Special Response Team / Bomb Squad

The Special Response Team employs a variety of special weapons and tactics not available to the regular patrolman. This unit is activated for a variety of reasons including barricaded suspects, hostage situations, and serving high risk warrants.

The Bomb Squad safely disposes of hazardous devices, inspects suspect packages, and removes old or unsafe explosives that have been discovered by citizens.

Criminal Investigation Division

These officers are specially trained in investigative services, including death investigations, crime scene processing, interview/interrogation, and evidence preparation and storage.

School Resource Officer

The Greeneville Police Department currently utilizes ten sworn officers to provide School Resource Officer (SRO) services throughout Greeneville City Schools.
