The Town of Greeneville is governed by the City Council. The documents that outline governance for the City Council are the Town Charter and the Municipal Code. These two documents outline the groups that assist the City Council in the form of boards, commissions, and authorities.

Open Positions

The Greeneville Health & Educational Facilities Board is seeking applications from those who are interested in serving as a member. The appointed member shall serve a six-year term.

The Greeneville Health & Educational Facilities Board encourages and promotes the improvement and maintenance of health and living conditions for the Town of Greeneville. The Board is authorized to issue revenue bonds and loan the proceeds to finance the acquisition, construction, development, rehabilitation, and improvement of health, educational, and multifamily housing facilities.
