“Street Meets Sparkle” Sets the Scene for Midnight on Main 2026
The Town of Greeneville is excited to announce “Street Meets Sparkle” as the official theme for the 12th Annual Midnight on Main, a FREE, all-ages New Year’s Eve street celebration welcoming 2026 in the heart of downtown.
Taking place on Wednesday, December 31, the event spans two blocks centered at Main and Depot Streets, transforming familiar hometown streets into a glowing, high-energy celebration. Festivities begin at 8 p.m. and continue through midnight, culminating in a ball drop and spectacular rooftop fireworks display.
A Night Where Hometown Fun Meets New Year’s Magic
Midnight on Main blends casual street-party vibes with festive New Year’s sparkle. Attendees can enjoy music, dancing, food trucks, party favors, and interactive activities throughout the evening. Guests will also be invited to submit New Year’s resolutions, which will become part of the night’s celebration.
Kids’ Zone
The Kids’ Zone will be located inside the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church, 110 N Main Street. Clearly marked signage will guide families to the entrance.
Hosted by volunteers from FCC Greene, the Kids’ Zone will feature:
Cornhole
Oversized Jenga and Connect 4
Table games
A bounce house for younger children
Music and dancing
Parents or guardians must remain with their children while in the Kids’ Zone.
Street Party
DJ TJ Shipley will keep the energy high with music for the all-ages dance party.
The food truck court on Depot Street will include:

The General Morgan Inn will host a Fire & Ice New Year’s Eve Party beginning at 8 p.m. for guests 21 and over. This ticketed event features immersive lighting, festive cocktails, elevated culinary stations inspired by fire and ice, and live entertainment. Sweeter Than Sweet Candy Company
Located at 105 N Main Street, Sweeter Than Sweet will be open until midnight offering classic and retro treats and free popcorn while supplies last.
Catalyst Coffee Company
Warm up and gather with friends at Catalyst Coffee Company from 8 p.m. until 11:45 p.m. They will be serving drinks made with locally roasted coffee beans throughout the evening.
Nickle Ridge Winery & Tasting
Enjoy live music, drinks, and snacks as CLOUSE & REAVES perform from 9–11:30 p.m. at Nickle Ridge located at 144 W Depot Street. Guests can also sample Nickle Ridge’s newest release, THE FULL MONTY, a Montepulciano worth celebrating.
Corner Garage Bar
Just outside the main event area at 109 N College Street, Corner Garage Bar will host a New Year’s Eve party from 7 p.m.–2 a.m., featuring DJ Y’allholla and a free midnight champagne toast.
