EPA PHASE II SMALL MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SYSTEM (MS4) EDUCATION AND PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PROGRAM
As part of land use planning, the Planning Department in conjunction with the Public Works/Engineering Department handles Greeneville's MS4 education/outreach and public involvement/participation program through education sessions, trainings and meetings, and by providing guidance and resources to developers, engineers, and the general public. The Town Engineer enforces compliance with the Stormwater Ordinance and the terms of the Stormwater Management Agreement with developers.

EDUCATION AT GREENEVILLE LOCAL LEVEL
The Town of Greeneville holds four sessions a year aimed at providing property owners, developers and storm water management facilities designers information on different properties in the Town, issues related to flood plains, Stormwater Pollution and Prevention Plan (SWPPP) as applicable to final site plans, and how to deal with storm water issues in the Town.
All information and education sessions are held in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom at the Greeneville Energy Authority building at 110 N College Street in downtown Greeneville
