NOTICE: Historic Weapons Demonstrations (including musket / black powder) are planned for 12, 1, 2, and 3 pm on Saturday, April 25 in Fox Park near the Babb Cabin at 101 W McKee Street, Greeneville.
Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in Greene County at Greene Heritage Days! This event is a collaboration between the Greeneville Greene County History Museum, the Greene County Heritage Trust, and the David Crockett Birthplace State Park. On Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., everyone is invited to the Museum’s Babb Cabin at 101 W McKee Street in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Visitors can expect to experience living history with tomahawk throwing and musket demonstrations. Those with green thumbs can prepare for spring at the seed swap. One of the most pivotal battles of the Revolutionary War comes to life through storytelling by members of the Overmountain Victory Trail Association, describing the journey to and victory at Kings Mountain. Visitors can also enjoy delicious offerings from food trucks and unique items from craft vendors.
